Matron of Honor
It all started when Sarah first became a big sister. One of the earliest recorded moments, preserved on cassette tape, captures Sarah's heartfelt words: "I'm going to protect her from thunderstorms and monsters." This marked the beginning of a close relationship, turning them into inseparable companions. So close, in fact, that one of Stephanie's many nicknames became "Me Too." Their sisterly adventures included mimicking Sarah's star-worthy dance moves while singing hits like "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and skiing through the same tree routes. They also attended universities with underwhelming football programs (CU Boulder has since improved with Deion Sanders), coincidentally adorned with black and gold colors. Their stories were further intertwined when they both ventured to CIMBA in Paderno del Grappa. Here, Sarah met her future husband, Ryan, occurring just three years before Stephanie and Brooke met in the same place. It is safe to say that CIMBA holds a special place in the hearts of the Lawrence sisters.

Brooke and Brandon's friendship traces back to the sixth grade when Brooke made the switch to a new middle school. Brandon was chosen to be his transfer buddy, and it did not take long for them to click. Even when their paths diverged, with Brooke attending a different high school, they managed to stay in close touch, remaining the best of friends. Their friendship thrived through a series of remarkable shared experiences, including a cross-country bike ride to raise awareness and funds for organ transplantation. Together, they embarked on a journey from Santa Monica, CA, all the way to Yorktown, VA, traversing two-lane highways, catching some sleep in laundromats, camping under the stars, and repeating the adventure day after day. Their friendship extended into other areas of life: hunting, boating, and of course, dancing (you will be able to witness their in-sync dance moves at the wedding). Their relationship goes beyond friendship; they are, in every sense, brothers for life.

Stephanie had been spending a weekend with Brooke when, in classic Brooke fashion, he casually mentioned that she would be meeting Alyson for the first time just before Stephanie's flight was scheduled to depart. With time for a quick lunch, one of the initial questions Alyson posed was, "Would you ever consider moving to the East Coast?" Stephanie could not help but wonder if Alyson had a hunch about their future. From that moment on, Stephanie and Alyson just clicked, occasionally leaving Brooke feeling like the third wheel. Right before Stephanie asked Alyson to be her bridesmaid, Alyson had expressed her desire to collect Starbucks mugs from various states, starting with Maryland. Little did she know that Stephanie had already purchased and wrapped the Maryland Starbucks mug, planning to surprise Alyson with it in just a week's time. It was a clear case of great minds thinking alike. With all of the great times and travels they have already shared together, Stephanie could not be happier to add another sister in the mix.

Brooke and John have been inseparable for 25 years now, sharing a special bond as cousins on their mother's side (the Jenkins family). They playfully joke about being Nanna's favorites, much to the chagrin of their other cousins, particularly Alyson. During their formative years, Brooke found himself spending a significant amount of quality time with John's family, which led to some memorable adventures and mischief, typical of any pair of 15-year-old kids. What truly sets them apart is that John and Brooke share striking similarities in nearly every facet of life, except for John's path in the military. Moreover, it's a curious twist of fate that both John and Brooke have found love with individuals named Stephanie.

Stephanie and Olivia's friendship began at Washington Middle School when Olivia transferred in. Olivia's pursuit of a degree in occupational therapy eventually led her to live with Stephanie in Denver, CO for a couple of months. This unique opportunity allowed them to share experiences like skiing adventures, countless dinner nights, attending hockey games, and enjoying live concerts. Olivia is not just the sweetest person you will ever meet but also a secret genius in her field, achieving the level of knowledge and expertise of a doctor in occupational therapy at the remarkable age of 25.

Brooke and Graham first crossed paths during their freshman year at Furman University. After both pledging to the same fraternity, they became insant friends, leading them to become college roommates. Their shared love for cars is a well-known aspect of their friendship — engage them in a conversation about automobiles, and you might find yourself settling in for a marathon discussion. Beyond their automotive passion, the duo is notorious for their spontaneous adventures, the destinations of which are always uncertain but will most definitely be a good time. In a junior year twist, Graham was originally slated to join Brooke and Stephanie at CIMBA, but plans took an unexpected turn. Graham and Stephanie later crossed paths a year later, solidifying Graham's status as a keeper, especially when it was revealed that he aspired to have a dachshund as his next puppy —a subtle ploy Stephanie is using to convince Brooke to join the dachshund club. Graham stands out as one of the kindest and goofiest friends, a brotherly figure Brooke considers himself fortunate to have.

Jordyn and Stephanie's friendship began in Ms. Carstens' second grade class at Freeman Elementary. This was the first year the two of them were placed in the same class. From second grade on, they became inseparable. Jordyn and Stephanie spent almost every day after school in each other's company, hosting endless playdates, sleepovers, and even inventing imaginative games like their very own Webkinz animal hospital. They even transformed a neighboring tree into their secret little playhouse. The two of them were very fortunate to live close enough to keep their Nintendo DS devices connected, using PictoChat to communicate (this was before they were allowed phones). Throughout their college years, Jordyn's West Florida volleyball team competed in a Colorado volleyball tournament every year, allowing Stephanie to visit and cheer her on. They would have never guessed that a couple years after college, Jordyn and Stephanie would be moving into an apartment together in Denver, CO. With both of them working from home, it was like they were in second grade all over again with endless sleepovers, and yes, even playing their Nintendos. The 8-year-old versions of themselves would undoubtedly be amazed by how far they have come. Jordyn has truly become a sister for life, a testament to the enduring strength of their friendship.

Brooke and Henry first connected during his sophomore year in college when Henry joined the fraternity shared by Brooke and Graham, joining the trio in their close-knit circle. Their camaraderie grew so strong that, along with their significant others, Henry and Graham even traveled to Delaware to celebrate Brooke and Stephanie's engagement. Henry has proven to be a reliable and cherished friend in their tight-knit group.

Stephanie and Camille's friendship blossomed during their sophomore year at CU Boulder when they crossed paths at the Student Ambassador interviews. Each had navigated the interview process in separate groups. As the interviews concluded, Camille approached Stephanie and let slip, "I've known you since freshman year!" Stephanie, caught off guard and slightly confused, responded with a curious "uhh, excuse me...?" Camille proceeded to clarify that she had resided in the same dorm as her the year before, just two floors above Stephanie. It turned out that Stephanie bore such a striking resemblance to Camille's friend that they nicknamed her "Jordan's twin" whenever they spotted her on campus. Needless to say, they have been friends ever since. Camille's unique blend of lightheartedness and a fearless, go-getter attitude always promises a new adventure (whether Stephanie is ready or not). However, there was one thing Camille was no longer entrusted with: choosing accommodations during their girls' trips—especially after a memorable mile-long walk along a desolate two-lane highway that led them to what could only be described as a one-star motel. Camille will go to the ends of the earth for her friends and family, and Stephanie could not imagine life without her, even from 3 time zones away.

Brooke and Michael's friendship traces back to their high school days at Mercersburg Academy in PA. Forming a strong connection while away from home, they navigated the mischief typical of 15-year-old boys. Despite parting ways for college, they stayed in touch through their classic Michael and Brooke phone call. Their conversations often sound like those of seasoned professionals, checking in on each other's businesses, families, and overall well-being. Stephanie finds amusement in their exchanges, likening them to 50-year-old businessmen ensuring everything is in order. A passionate skier, Stephanie eagerly anticipates a ski weekend with Michael in the east "mountains," although they might have to venture west occasionally to balance the scales and make up for the lack of powder in their adventures.
Usher
Stephanie's friendship with Matt began freshman year at CU Boulder when they found themselves living just a few doors apart in Willard Hall. On one of those initial college nights, Stephanie propped her door open in the hope of connecting with fellow floor residents as they passed by. Matthew happened to be one of the first to stroll by, and he was greeted with a loud, "Hi, I'm Stephanie, want to come hang out?" Throughout the year, and, let's admit it, almost every day, Stephanie sported her trusty crocs around the dorm. Matt humorously labeled her in his phone as "B*tch with the Crocs," a moniker that still stands to this day. Both quickly discovered that their respective roommates were less than ideal, so they made the most of it by spending nearly every day together during that unforgettable freshman year. Matt's contagious laughter has the power to light up any room he enters. His carefree demeanor, paired with his sharp wit, has given rise to countless laughs and a growing "quote list" that is regularly revisited. Matt's the type of friend who can withstand any distance and still pick up right where you left off, as if no time had passed at all.
