Is there a dress code?

Black Tie Invited. We can't wait to see you on our special day! Men are encouraged to wear suits or tuxedos, and women are encouraged to wear dresses. Bridesmaids will be in blue.

Will there be air conditioning?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be held inside Holy Name Catholic Church. The cocktail hour will be inside and outside at the Meadowbrook Hall Mansion. The reception and dinner will be inside the climate-controlled garden tent.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking lot located behind the church, in addition to street parking. There is also parking at the reception, but we ask that guests have a responsible driver to bring them home. We will be providing a shuttle to the hotel blocks.

How far is the ceremony site from the reception?

Answer

The ceremony is located in downtown Birmingham. The hotel blocks are also in downtown Birmingham, less than a mile from the church. The reception is located about 20 minutes away from the church.
