We got engaged on a rainy morning in Boston on Friday, August 1st 2025. We had booked this trip early in the summer - neither of us ever having been and also decided to make a day trip to New York City on our last day. We spent the upcoming months singing Frank Sinatra and getting excited to watch the Astros play the Red Sox at home. David had made early morning reservation at Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum - or so I thought. Little did I know, a few fake wrong turns later, he would lead me to Acorn Street where he would surprise me with the ring of my dreams and asking me to marry him! He had a professional photographer waiting there for us to capture some of our best moments walking around the city - along with a surprise visit from two of our best friends to witness the proposal. It was the best day of my life. While this is our favorite memory in Boston, we have a newfound love and appreciation for this city, it's history, and all the yummy lobster rolls and beer! We will be back!
