Early in the pandemic of 2020, Joe and Steph matched online and started talking. Steph asked Joe to join her motorcycle gang, and the rest is history. They quickly started talking every day, then Facetiming, and then finally had their first (secret) date on April 18th, 2020. Joe made Steph dinner and wanted to send her home with leftovers, but then the secret would have been out. The pair began officially dating that day and in September, they moved in together. Many memories were shared at their first apartment, lovingly referred to as "608". In the same month, they also both supported the start of each other's new careers in law enforcement and firefighting. Two years into dating, the pair moved to the family's new farm in Chester Springs. Each time they took a walk around the farm with their new puppy Winnie, Steph told Joe about her dream of putting up a porch swing somewhere on the property. Then on July 10, 2023, Joe surprised Steph with a handmade porch swing with the words "MARRY ME?" wood-burned by Joe. Steph cried (obviously) and said yes! The pair are incredibly excited to share this celebration of their love with you this October.
