I started at St. Francis College in September of 2016. About a month into classes, I was taking the escalator up the stairs to get to another class and Mike was on the other side going down the escalator, which was visible to me. We ended making eye contact and I just waved and smiled at him. I actually recognized him because we went to the same middle school, he was just a year ahead of me, but I wasn't sure if he knew who I was. A few days later, a friend of mine at the college that I was hanging out with told me he was going to meet up with another friend and that I should come. His other friend ended up being Mike. We were introduced to each other and have been by each others side ever since. :)
