We are getting married!

We met studying abroad and working in London, England during the fall of 2018. He didn't take long to make the first move; in Heathrow airport, right after disembarking the plane we made small talk about summer vacation. From there we were inseparable, exploring the boroughs of London, Oxford, and Bruges, Belgium together. On Hannah's 20th Birthday we had our first official date, eating cake for breakfast and shopping all day before a romantic Italian dinner.

On December 15, 2020, Jacob asked Hannah to go get holiday hot cocoa from their favorite local soda fountain, Gilchrist. This location was special to Hannah growing up and for the couple throughout their time at Samford. Before reaching Gilchrist, the couple admired the Christmas Village in a realtor's window and Jacob got down on one knee! It's all a bit of a blur from there but the couple is forever grateful that Jay Barr Photography was there to capture the moment.
