In July 2022, we embarked on our first big trip together as a couple to the Big Island of Hawaii. We stayed in Kona for 7 days and couldn't get enough of the crystal waters, dreamy sunsets, warm people, and lilikoi cheesecake. You would think that staying in a tiny airstream with a 6'3" giant would be uncomfortable, but it only made us closer (literally and figuratively). We bonded over our love of adventure and appreciation for exploring different cultures. It also sparked a series of decisions and life changes that led us to where we are today. This trip solidified who we are as a couple: travel buddies, confidants, soulmates, and most importantly - best friends. So it is only fitting that we celebrate our union in the place that has been a symbol of growth in our relationship - and it's just a bonus that it also happens to be paradise!
