We met in the fall of 2021 after we matched on a dating app while Megan was visiting friends she made during college just months after she moved back home to New Jersey. Ironically, we both lived in Maryland since 2019 - sometimes only streets apart - but never crossed paths. Taking a leap of faith after talking on the phone and bonding over our sense of humor, we decided to meet in person for the first time and went on our first date at a restaurant called Lime & Salt in Maryland. Since that very first day, we have been inseparable. The first year and a half of our relationship was long distance with many miles driven and FaceTime calls in between to bridge the gap. In the summer of 2023, we closed the distance and decided to move into an apartment together. By August 2024, we became proud owners of our two kittens Butters and Roo (after much convincing due to Kobe's cat allergy - he's fine!) and have created a life we absolutely love. On April 22, 2025, Kobe took Megan to Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis where he got down on one knee by the water and Megan said "yes" to forever. Through the years, we have only grown closer and loved deeper each day and can't wait to celebrate our love and marriage with the friends and family we hold dear.
