If you're looking for a place to sample good food and drinks, check out Politan Row at Colony Square in Midtown. It has a fun food hall with various options for everyton, from great local eats to cocktails and sweet treats. Perfect for a laid-back bite or a quick stop between wedding festivities.
The Georgia Aquarium was once the biggest aquarium in the world, and remains the largest in the USA and North America overall. It's a fun, easy outing for all ages, with unforgettable marine life and interactive exhibits. A great way to spend a few hours while you’re in town.
A Georgia Tech institution! Cypress is located right off of Georgia Tech's campus, and is a student and alumni favorite. Come sit on the patio and enjoy some good food, $3 house beers + mimosas, and great company. They have a great brunch and welcome your furry friends as well!
For art lovers (and movie buffs!), the High Museum of Art is a must-visit in Atlanta. Wander its beautiful galleries, admire incredible collections, and snap some photos in its iconic spaces. You might recognize it, as the High has starred in many films, including Black Panther, The Falcon and Winter Solider, The Resident, and What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Perfect for a little culture and a touch of Hollywood while you’re in town!
Right on the other side of Piedmont Park from our wedding venue, the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are the perfect spot to wander through colorful blooms, explore whimsical exhibits, and soak in some fresh air. A peaceful (and photo-worthy!) escape right in the city. We recommend checking the website for any exhibits going on during our wedding weekend.
See the city from up above! SkyView Atlanta is a giant Ferris wheel in the heart of downtown (kind of like our own, much smaller version of the London Eye) offering stunning skyline views. It's perfect for a fun outing or a memorable photo op while you’re in town.
