We’re honored to have Robert Conlan—better known as Bob to many, and to Jess as “Uncle Bobbo”—officiating our wedding! He’s Jess’s uncle (Flo’s brother) and a longtime friend of Matt’s family as well. In fact, he and Matt’s dad go way back to grade school days, where they played sports together with Jess's Grandpa Bill being the coach of many of those teams. We couldn’t think of a better person to help us tie the knot than someone who’s been part of both of our lives and families for so long.

Tristyn Barreto

Jess met Tristyn in a physiology class back in 2020, and what started as bonding over lectures and COVID facetime study sessions quickly turned into a friendship for the ages. Since then, they’ve been pretty much inseparable—Friday nights are their time, and that tradition has rarely been broken (seriously, try scheduling something on a Friday… good luck!). Jess couldn’t imagine this day without Tristyn by her side—her lab partner turned soul sister.

Long before Jess met Matt, she met his sister Alison on their first-ever softball team back in 2008. At the time, they were just a couple of 9-year-olds playing in a community league together—but little did Jess know she was also meeting her future sister-in-law. From teammates to classmates to family, Alison has been there since the very beginning. After years of inside jokes, countless memories, and surviving the chaos of family gatherings, Jess is so grateful to have Ali by her side—as a friend turned sister.

Jess and Presley first crossed paths in 2008 on their first softball team. A quick conversation—and the surprise of being neighbors—was all it took. From bedroom chats and weekly sleepovers to long walks around downtown Carmel, they’ve shared the small, everyday moments that come with growing up together. Her loyalty, humor, and big heart have shaped years of friendship and sisterhood.

Avery Charlton

Jess met Avery in 2009 when they were both sixth graders, and they’ve been close ever since. Weekend sleepovers, school dances, and being part of their namesake friend group “the Wolfpack” built a bond that’s lasted long past middle school. Avery’s been there through it all, and having her here now is just another beautiful piece of their long-running friendship.

Jess met Pyper in their freshman year of high school, and they quickly became inseparable. Jess spent countless nights at Pyper’s house—talking for hours, watching movies, and just being teenagers, figuring life out together. As part of “the Wolfpack,” Pyper has been a huge part of those formative years, and their friendship has only grown stronger over time. Having her here now feels like a full-circle moment in a friendship that has always felt like family.

Jess and Lily became fast friends as part of “the Wolfpack,” and their bond grew even stronger when they were college roommates in SLO during their freshman year. From late-night talks to navigating the newness of college life, they shared countless memories that only deepened their friendship. Having Lily by her side feels like a true reflection of the years of laughter, adventures, and growth they’ve shared.

Jess and Oceanna (better known as Oce), met in middle school, and what started as a friendship has only grown stronger over the years. As part of “the Wolfpack,” they’ve shared some of the best memories and life’s bigger moments together. Oce has always been there when it matters, and having her by Jess’s side on this day is the perfect way to celebrate the years they’ve spent supporting each other.

Jess and Julianna became close friends in high school, and their bond has only grown stronger over the years. From shared adventures to life’s biggest milestones—including Jess standing by her side as a bridesmaid in 2024 and becoming “Auntie JJ” to Julianna’s daughter Isla—their friendship has been shaped by time, laughter, and showing up for each other. Now, Jess is so happy to have Julianna here for this one.
