Summer 2007 It all started in the small town of Archdale, North Carolina in 2007. Neither of us were old enough to drive, so we worked at the local summer camp (shoutout creekside) as junior counselors. The first day of camp this cute, tall guy with the most genuine smile caught my eye - little did I know I caught his too. the connection was instant and we found ourselves always trying to be around each other, but playing hard to get too, of course. David and I became best friends that summer. the fun came to an end, and I went back to greensboro to start high school at Northwest Guilford and David started his sophomore year at Trinity High School. Over the years, we always stayed in touch but the stars had not aligned for us quite yet... Summer 2017 Flash forward a decade, we reconnected and knew the timing was meant to be for us. On August 27 we went on our first official date and by September 13, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. who knew a relationship could be so effortless? Over the past three years, we survived the distance, went to tons of concerts, bought a house, blended our doggo family (love you Syd, Jax & Beaux), played a lot of cornhole, traveled with friends & family, and GOT ENGAGED in NYC. Winter 2020 February 8, 2020 - what I thought was just a vacation with our best friends (Haaris & Alaina), turned out to be one of my most favorite days of my life. David got down on one knee in the middle of central park and asked me to marry him. There were happy tears all around! We are forever grateful our paths led us back to one another and cannot wait to navigate this life together. January 2, 2021 #newyearnewclausel.... so we thought. October 29, 2021 Love is patient, love is kind - we are BEYOND excited to celebrate with everyone!
