Do I need a passport?

Answer

No. US citizens do not need a passport to go to St Thomas or St John. Please make sure to have a valid, up to date real ID/ driver's license and you'll be all set! If you are traveling with children, you must have proof of identification in the form of a birth certificate.

Will I have to go through customs?

Answer

You will not have to go through customs when you land in St. Thomas. Infact, you will be greeted with a free rum sample when you walk into the airport. Welcome to paradise! However, you will have to go through customs when you fly back. You will need to show proof of citizenship at the airport. Please plan on arriving to the airport at least 3 hours prior to your departure.

US dollars. You may also use credit or debit card.

Will my cell phone work while I'm there?

Answer

Absolutely! You may use your cellular device, 4G and wifi. You will not acquire any additional charges on your phone bill. You may encounter some slower wifi or dead zones as we are on an island. Most hotels and air bnb's will have complementary wifi for you.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Casual/ resort wear. Even in January, St Thomas can be warm & humid. We want you to wear something comfortable and breezy, because you can't have fun if you're not comfortable! For women, a flowy light weight dress would be ideal for the climate. I would avoid wearing stilettos or pointy heels. I recommend a mule heel that is easy to slip on/ off in case you want to take pictures on the beach! For men, a light button down or linen shirt would be most comfortable. Its vacation after all and we want you to enjoy yourself!

Can I drink the tap water in St Thomas?

Answer

Yes! You can drink the water without any issues. You can also indulge in a smoothie or blended drink without any worries, the ice is safe too!
