FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly request guests arrive by 3:30 PM to allow time to be seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your little ones, due to limited space this is an adult only event, with the exception of our daughter. We encourage you to use this evening as a “date night” and appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're keeping our celebration intimate and are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There will be complimentary valet parking in front of The Smithville Inn. In addition, there are parking lots in the Towne of Smithville for free self parking.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Please note, coat check will be available. Ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

On November 29th and 30th the Towne of Smithville will be hosting an outdoor “Dickens Festival” featuring an original, musical adaptation of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens. To account for potential traffic delays, it's suggested to depart early and allow for ample travel time to the ceremony.
