Michael and Stephanie met the summer of 2012 in Frisco, Texas while working at Main Event Entertainment. Michael went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas while Stephanie attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. 396 miles kept them apart, but thankfully Stephanie forced Michael to download the app “Snapchat” and they remained in touch. Stephanie and Michael would spend hours snapchatting, texting, and facetiming each other while away at school. Stephanie swore to others that they were just friends all while having a crush on Michael since the moment they met. Michael did everything he could to let Stephanie know he was interested, but she just wouldn’t get a clue. So, they went their separate ways, dating other people and enjoying college life. Eventually the two reconnected and they began to talk more and more so Michael invited Stephanie to go to lunch during Thanksgiving break of their senior year of college. Both were so nervous to see each other again, but the second they started talking it felt like old times. A couple of weeks later, Stephanie invited Michael to come visit her in San Marcos to celebrate the end of their final exams. Michael drove 7 hours from Lubbock to San Marcos not knowing if Stephanie reciprocated his feelings. Later that night, Stephanie and Michael were sitting in Stephanie’s living room with all of her friends. One of her roommates pretended to take a mistletoe around the room to all of the couples. Michael and Stephanie were the last couple in the circle and as the mistletoe made their way to them, they shared their first kiss. They’ve been together ever since! Together they’ve shared three homes, their kitten, Bella, and countless wonderful memories.
