Thank you a million times thank you for each and every person who made our wedding day so very special! We wanted to pass along photos and videos so everyone had the opportunity to reminisce on what turned out to be such a beautiful day! Zoom Video Recording - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSdiehGnyBc Wedding Photo Album - https://whitneydarling.pixieset.com/andrewandlauraweddingday/ If you have your own memories for the day we'd love to enjoy them as well! Feel free to email them to us directly at laura@bernard.studio or tag on social media #thefuturebernards We'd be remiss if we didn't take a moment to thank everyone who supported us in person and online, shared their unique and beautiful talents to make the day possible, donated to causes that are so close to our hearts, and so generously filled our sweet little home with gifts and love. This Thanksgiving will be incredibly easy to recall each of your faces when we think of reasons to be thankful. Love to you all!
There are 2 easy ways join our "Online Watch Party" you'll need just a few things: 1. Join Directly on Zoom (https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87809915432) or 2. View on our website (https://www.zola.com/wedding/thefuturebernards/virtual/ZGV5ZwZkBN) If you do not already have Zoom account you can sign up here (https://zoom.us/freesignup/) From there, everything else should be a piece of cake, but if you have any remaining questions before or during the event please email sam.robinson10@gmail.com or alexandrakabbaz@gmail.com The ceremony will officially begin at 4PM on Saturday, October 10 but feel free to login a little early to say hi and make sure everything is working.
First time attending a Zoom wedding? Don't worry, we're all rookies! We've compiled some tips & tricks for you + We'll have Zoom open 10-15 minutes before the ceremony feel free to log in and see who's there and check in on the message board. + When you arrive on the Zoom you will automatically be on mute. So don't worry your mic isn't broken! After the ceremony, we will open up the floor to anyone who would like to say a few words. To sign up leave your name in the chatbox and when it is your turn, your window will be unmuted and it will be your chance to toast. + Wanna have some fun? Get crafty and make a sign for who you're rooting for Team Laura or Team Andrew. Then DOWNLOAD ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/1y6n0n0hzllfheq/BernardBingo.jpg?dl=0P) our custom Bernard Wedding BINGO board to play along during the ceremony! If everything goes sideways, not to fret, we'll record the ceremony plus the first dance & toasts to be uploaded later in the week and emailed for everyone to enjoy.
First of all we just can't wait to have you join us on such a special day! Below are a few quick tips for how to make the most of the day: + Please bring a mask and wear it at all times, except while eating or drinking (similar to a restaurant protocol) + Please carpool or Uber when possible. The Pringles have graciously allowed us to celebrate at their home and we would like to be respectful as possible by limiting the numbers of cars on site. Once you pass Overview Circle we recommend taking the next available parking spot and continuing down the hill to 10219 Overhill Drive which will be the first house on the right side. + Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow for parking and check-in. For peace of mind, temperature scans will be required before admittance and ceremony seating is assigned in pods. + But what to wear? Think backyard cocktail party. For the men slacks and button downs and for the ladies breezy dresses. We want our wedding to be comfortable and effortless.
Thank you so very much for celebrating with us at the start of this new journey! We've included some classic registry items, but our heart is to have our first act as a couple bless those in need. Andrew and I each have included a featured non-profit we are involved with that is close to our hearts and changing the lives of those near and far. We've already been so blessed in our lives we'd like to take this opportunity to support the causes we believe in. Thank you so very much for joining us to encourage these organizations that are changing the world one person at a time.
We're at 45 days until the wedding and it's starting get really really real! Invitations will be mailing out in just a few days so there is no going back now! Sunday morning Orange County was moved off the coronavirus watch list which is incredibly encouraging news. We will continue to monitor government regulations, but as of now we are planning for an all outdoor socially distanced event where, following similar regulations as restaurants, celebrating guests wear masks while not eating or drinking. We hope you'll join us in person, but if not feasible we'll be sharing our ceremony live for our friends around the globe to join us.
Wedding planning is in full swing. I finally found a dress, save the dates should have made it to our friends, and we know what we're having for dessert. That's all there is to wedding planning right? Goodness far from it, but we're making progress and will continue to keep you updated. Andrew and I will be reaching out for your emails so we can more easily share updates, but until then if you haven't completed the initial RSVP we would truly appreciate it as we start to finalize vendors. Thank you and can't wait to see you! -Laura
This is a special day for both of us, but we never want to place ceremony over your safety and comfort. No matter your presence on 10.10.20 you will always be part of our lives. For those who feel uncomfortable with traveling or attending the wedding and reception in person, we will be hosting an “Online Watch Party” to join us right from your home. If this is your preferred way to celebrate, we would love for you to RSVP as soon as possible with your email address so we can plan accordingly. If you would prefer to join us in person, we will be making our final decision for COVID guidelines, specifically in relation to guest size, by late August. If you will be traveling to attend our wedding, please reach out to us directly if making any arrangements before this date. To help keep all our loved ones in the loop we will be updating this section regularly with fun tidbits about our lives, but more importantly our plans and COVID’s effect on them.
