We're getting married!

Ames, IA - October 2016 It was a Friday night.. and if you know Anna well enough you know you can find her dancing her booty off out at the bars. Luckily this Friday night lead her to the only country bar in Ames and also to Jesse. They were instantly drawn together through the dance floor. The two danced all night and the rest is history!

After meeting up at Iowa State University, Jesse and Anna constantly found themselves being drawn to one another. After graduation and Jesse getting a job in Des Moines, he practically lived with Anna's parents for the summer. In August of 2017, the two decided to move in together along with Jesse's adorable dog, Scout. The two would go on to welcome two more fur babies to the family a few years later, Goose and Bowie. In December of 2019, Jesse and Anna bought a little "fixer-upper" in Urbandale, IA where they would grow their family for years to come!

On a chilly night in November, Jesse arranged to take Anna, along with her her parents, Chris and Mary out to dinner at the Greenbrier. Little did Anna know that her soon to be fiancé had arranged for their closest friends and family to be waiting at the house for the big surprise! When Anna and Jesse arrived back home, they walked through the back yard to find a beautiful set up asking for her hand in marriage. After saying the sweetest of words, Jesse dropped to a knee and asked about forever. Anna of course said "YES!" Cheers erupted from the patio as their friends and family watched the two embrace. The evening was full of love, laughter and lots of drinks as these two celebrated their love with those they love most!
