Davis and I love visiting the Arboretum, especially in October! They have an extensive display of pumpkins and a pumpkin patch. Pack a picnic if the weather is nice!
This was one of our favorite spots when Davis lived in Dallas! Grab a Michelob Ultra or a Paloma (our favorites) with your breakfast tacos before heading for a walk on the adjoining Katy Trail.
A fun area near our hotel blocks and venue, you can spend the entire day shopping at high-end retailers and eating delicious food. A personal favorite is the Legacy Food Hall with up to 20 different eateries and bars and everything from Texas BBQ to ice cream.
An awesome interactive museum, especially if you're looking for something to do with your kiddos! Brittany's favorite exhibits are Sports Exhibit, where you can race a T. Rex, and the Life Then & Now Exhibit for the dinosaur skeletons.
A fun Saturday morning activity for fresh produce, local meats and cheeses, and artisan breads and pastries. This was one of our first (and most memorable) dates and one of our favorite Farmers Markets!
Located near our hotel and venue, The Boardwalk offers a selection of great restaurants and outdoor waterfront seating. Brittany's favorite restaurant is Union Bear Brewing Co., especially their brunch!
Located on SMU's campus, the Bush Presidential Library is a top attraction in Dallas. Get your picture taken in the Oval Office, learn about the Bush Family legacy, and enjoy a picnic among the wildflowers in Native Texas Park.
Home of the Dallas Cowboys practice facility, we recommend taking a guided tour to see Super Bowl memorabilia, the athletic facilities, and the War Room where draft decisions are made every year. The Star is also surrounded by an extensive selection of restaurants and bars.
