it's finally happening

We have crossed paths so many times, just to realize down the line, we were always meant to be, we just had to get our timing right. In March of 2003, we attended our then, future high school’s dance. From what we remember, we met that day, talked for a little while and exchanged phone numbers. Before emojis, Alex figured her way to stand out was to put her name in Steve's phone as “Alex <3”. Through the years, they shared their first kiss as high school freshman. In college, Alex's BFF (now maid of honor) went away to the same school as Steve and were always at the same parties. After college, Alex would frequent the bar Steve was bartending and drink together. And we all know the hilarious story of when we saw eachother at the jersey shore (that one's best told in person). In the summer of 2015, Steve did what he did best - slid into Alex's DM's about a "trip she was on" and getting together sometime. One Saturday, Alex made the first move and reached out to Steve to see if he was around. His response was that he was at work. **Morgan Freeman voice: Alex thought he was full of it - who works on a Saturday night?** With no real plan, Steve made his way to Hoboken the following week hoping to see Alex. He even got his only Hoboken local out of his pjs to make it as if he would already be in town (shout out Frank Deconzo!) Feeling rejected the week before, Alex avoided meeting Steve at 10th and Willow until Jaclyn told her to cut the $h!t - (shout out to her too, we probably wouldn't be here otherwise.) We saw each other from across the room that night and we immediately knew it was meant to be, we fit. From that moment on, we haven’t left each other’s side. And no, he never took that "<3" out of his phone from all those years ago. And now, we are getting married!!
