We met at the College of Saint Rose, where the softball girls and the baseball boys always seemed to be hanging out together. What started as a friendship, late nights with our friend groups, gym sessions, and partying at PSP or the Pub, slowly grew into something more. Tyler even let Taylor introduce him to sushi for the very first time at Ruby’s (and yes, he’s been hooked ever since). On May 2, 2016, Tyler officially asked Taylor to be his girlfriend. From navigating long-distance while living at home, to Tyler moving to Newburgh while Taylor commuted into the city, we made it work. Before long, we found our first apartment together, and shortly after brought home our baby, Jax (who will definitely be the star of the wedding). He quickly became our whole heart, and we can’t imagine our lives without him tagging along everywhere we go. Over the past six years of living together, we’ve built a life filled with many “daily rituals” lots of long walks with Jax, working out together, Tyler’s cooking, probably too many pints of ice cream, and plenty of Tyler’s jump scare surprises that somehow still work every time. A few years ago, we bought our first home, which has been such a special milestone for us. Then, in Montauk, one of our favorite summer spots, Tyler proposed, making this place even more meaningful to our story. Now, exactly ten years after we started dating, on May 2, 2026, we’ll be saying “I do” in Montauk, surrounded by our favorite people. We can’t wait to celebrate not only our first day of marriage, but also a decade of our love with all of our loved ones.
