Our Story
How We Met

We met in the summer of 2024 when a mutual friend introduced us, trusting we’d be a great match—and they were right! From there our friendship quickly grew as we tried to see each other as often as we could, from weekly dinners with friends, group Bible studies, exploring new coffee shops, and endless pickleball games. After a month and a half of getting to know each other, we began dating and spent the next year growing closer together. Throughout the past year of dating, we have experienced so much joy and blessing from the Lord. We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives growing in love and discovering what God has planned for us next!
The Proposal

When Michael began planning the proposal, Savannah thought she had it all figured out. They had talked about getting engaged and assumed it would happen after Savannah graduated in 2026—little did she know Michael was secretly planning to propose that very summer. On the day of the proposal, Michael and Savannah’s sister, Ellah, planned a group picnic for the three of them to throw Savannah off the scent (Savannah is notoriously nosy when it comes to surprises). The three found a beautiful spot at the Nature Realm in Sandrun Metropark, and when the moment arrived, Ellah conveniently disappeared to “go to the bathroom,” giving Michael the perfect opportunity to pop the question. Savannah was completely oblivious to the plan, making the proposal a total surprise. After the initial shock wore off, she happily said yes to forever—and the rest is history. (Fun fact! Michael proposed on the same day they had their first date, a year later!)
