After talking online and having a couple video chats, we met in person and spent our first date on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls. Jordan kept the whole date a surprise up until the day of. He had ordered activity passes and we spent the day bowling, looking at the wax museum, mini putting and just walking around together. We went for dinner at Skylon Tower and barely ate because we couldn't stop talking. After dinner we watched the fireworks over Niagara Falls.
We took our first trip together to NYC after having to reschedule from a year earlier. We spent four days there just before Christmas enjoying all of the holiday decorations and exploring the city. Including walking through all the floors of Macy's, seeing Wicked on broadway, and skating at Rockefeller under the famous tree.
Heather found Zoe as a kitten listed on kijiji and picked her up that same day. She has been a light during some dark times.
After spending 236 days apart due to the pandemic, Heather hopped on two planes and flew to see Jordan.
After Janelle bred the family dogs and raised a litter of puppies, Jordan adopted Ruby to form our little family of four.
After 6 years together Jordan decided to propose to Heather on another one of our reunion trips during the pandemic. Jordan worked so hard and had the hotel room they were staying at setup to pop the question, and after all of that preparation ended up so sick the morning of the proposal. It certainly made things memorable!
On a hot summer day we went to the courthouse with Heather's two siblings in tow to make it official. We see this date as the day we became husband and wife and the date we will celebrate as our anniversary in the future. But we cannot wait for our wedding day to be able to celebrate our marriage with all of our close family and friends.
