Why did we pick this location?

Answer

I've always loved the outer banks and Danielle fell in love the first time we went too. We always make a point to visit a lighthouse when we're around so this became the obvious choice for us.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors on the public park grounds; the dinner following will be indoors.

What weather should we expect?

Answer

While the weather can vary quite drastically, you can expect average lows in the 60s and highs in the 70s in early October in the OBX. For 2023 specifically it was 77/59 on October 2. It does rain occasionally during the season as well so plan to have a light jacket on hand but, we will plan all the rain dances and prayers we can for beautiful beach weather which is very much possible too!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Casual to the fullest. Nick will NOT be in a tuxedo or any fancy slacks, he will be in some shorts or jeans if it's cold so please feel free to dress comfortably for the weather.

What is Captain George's?

Answer

Captain George's is primarily an all you can eat seafood buffet but, you will also find steak, ribs, chicken and a full salad bar too.
