Our requested attire is Black Tie Optional / Formal. Gentlemen, please wear a tuxedo or dark suit and tie. Ladies, please wear a floor length gown or elegant midi dress. Bright colors, florals, and fun patterns/textures are highly encouraged. Have fun with it!
Please arrive at the venue between 3:30-3:40pm to allow ample time for finding parking and getting seated 10 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Traffic on Fridays in San Diego can start as early as 2pm. Please take this into account if you are staying in a neighborhood other than La Jolla. We highly recommend taking an Uber or Lyft as street parking is extremely limited and shared with a public beach.
We are getting married at an indoor/outdoor venue next to the ocean in La Jolla. Weather permitting, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place outside. We'll move inside to hit the dance floor, although guests will be free to hang out outside if they prefer. October in San Diego is typically warm and sunny with average temperatures in the mid 60s-70s during the day. It can get chilly at night next to the ocean, so please bring a coat or jacket.
The rehearsal dinner is an intimate celebration for our immediate family, wedding party, and select guests. If you are invited, you’ll see the rehearsal dinner listed on your RSVP. Please click the RSVP tab for all rehearsal dinner details and to confirm your attendance. The dress code is coastal cocktail attire. For the ladies - midi or maxi dresses in airy fabrics & for the men - linen or lightweight suits & button-down shirts. Jackets and ties are welcome but not required.
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is adults-only, with the exception of children in the bridal party and those traveling from out of the country who are welcome to join us.
