Our story began with a simple hello, a moment that quietly changed everything. I tried to take her out on a date soon after, but life kept her busy, and our plans had to wait. The funny thing is, I wasn’t even looking for her; I was simply content, or so I thought. I had no idea what true happiness was, or that something extremely important was missing in my life, until I met her. It was through her, the moments we shared, that I realized what living truly meant. God clearly had plans for me, plans that included her in the most beautiful way. From the start, I knew she was stunning, driven, a little anxious, with just the right amount of boldness to balance her grace. But what I’ve discovered and continue to discover about her is even deeper: her vulnerability, passion, dreams, complex simplicity, the way her sadness and joy dance within her spirit, her kindness, and her unbreakable strength. She is a blessing beyond anything I ever prayed for. These are the things that don’t just make me adore her, they make me need her. Sure, we don’t always see eye to eye, but that’s part of the beauty. She never compromises who she is for anyone, and that kind of authenticity is rare. Every day, we are learning more about each other, and every day, she becomes an even greater part of me. She is the most challenging and fulfilling lesson I’ve ever willingly taken on, because she pushes me to grow, to be patient, to be more aware. I know we will build something true and lasting: a love and marriage that embraces light and dark, highs and lows, sweetness and struggle but most importantly, something real. I adore everything about her, every single day, and will dedicate the rest of my life to us. - Leon
On Valentine’s weekend, we took a trip to New York City. I knew it would be special, but I had no idea how unforgettable it would become. I had the joy of meeting Leon’s kind and loving father, and we spent time exploring the city, including a quick photoshoot in Times Square. On the evening of Valentine’s Day, we boarded the Oasis yacht at Pier 40 for a romantic dinner cruise along the Hudson River. Under the night sky, we enjoyed a delicious three-course meal w/wine and red roses, heartfelt conversation, and stunning views of New York City’s illuminated skyline. Midway through the evening, Leon invited me out to the deck to take a photo. To my surprise, he got down on one knee and proposed. I said YES!!! In that moment, cheers and applause erupted around us. We then noticed that we were floating past the Statue of Liberty, adding a symbolic and surreal beauty to the occasion. As we disembarked, an older woman turned to us and said, “Enjoy forever together.” Her words will stay with me forever. It was a magical evening that I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Leon is truly one in a million and his genuine heart has captured mine. #WrightInTheHeartOfFrance 🇺🇸♥️🇬🇾 -Crenisha View the proposal video at (copy/paste): https://vimeo.com/1076911077
