We live right beside this neighborhood and our first time meeting each other was actually at a bar in the Short North. This is a historic urban neighborhood in Columbus filled with boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops, bars & restaurants.
This is the neighborhood where our church is located. Built by German settlers hundreds of years ago, the area is defined by its brick homes and shops, as well as brick-lined streets. There are many local businesses, coffee shops, bars and restaurants to explore, as well as the beautiful Schiller Park.
Great spot for breakfast - we live just a few blocks away! If you want savory, we recommend trying the egg sandwich. If you want sweet, we recommend any of the pastries. There is also a Fox in the Snow cafe located in German Village (210 Thurman Ave, Columbus, OH 43206).

Formed in 1878 as the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts, this was the first art museum to register its charter with the state of Ohio. There is free general admission every Sunday.
