Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Julie Richards and Patrick Foy
We'd love to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you.

Short North Arts District

Columbus, OH

We live right beside this neighborhood and our first time meeting each other was actually at a bar in the Short North. This is a historic urban neighborhood in Columbus filled with boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops, bars & restaurants.

German Village

Columbus, OH

This is the neighborhood where our church is located. Built by German settlers hundreds of years ago, the area is defined by its brick homes and shops, as well as brick-lined streets. There are many local businesses, coffee shops, bars and restaurants to explore, as well as the beautiful Schiller Park.

Fox in the Snow Cafe

1031 North 4th Street, Columbus, OH 43201

Great spot for breakfast - we live just a few blocks away! If you want savory, we recommend trying the egg sandwich. If you want sweet, we recommend any of the pastries. There is also a Fox in the Snow cafe located in German Village (210 Thurman Ave, Columbus, OH 43206).

Katalina's

1105 Pennsylvania Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201

Great spot for breakfast. We used to go here all the time when we lived in Harrison West, the pancake balls are to die for.

Marcella's

615 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Great spot for dinner or happy hour. We went here on our first date. Best meatball in Columbus.

Lindey's

169 East Beck Street, Columbus, OH 43206

Great spot for brunch or dinner. Just a few blocks away from our church, voted one of the best restaurants in Columbus for years.

Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

1777 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203

Franklin Park Conservatory features exotic plant collections and displays, seasonal exhibits, outdoor gardens, and more.

Columbus Museum of Art

480 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43215

Formed in 1878 as the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts, this was the first art museum to register its charter with the state of Ohio. There is free general admission every Sunday.
