Alicia Weldon

Maid Of Honour

Alicia (Liss) and Sarah first met in 2012 when Liss was Sarah's recruitment consultant. Sarah and Liss hit it off when Sarah's bluntness about how c**p the job was made Liss laugh hysterically. Sarah knew that they would get on & invited Liss to attend a networking event with her and the rest is history. 13 years later they continue to make each other laugh & always have each others backs. Liss is often the first one Sarah goes to for advice as she "always knows what to say" and is not afraid of being blunt just like Sarah! Which works well especially as Sarah is so fussy! Good luck Alicia helping Sarah find a dress!

Daniel Weeks

Man Of Honour

Sarah and Dan first met in 2017 when they both worked at a boutique in Guernsey. Very quickly they both got into trouble for chatting too much and were sent downstairs to pack hundreds of boxes with intricate ribbons ready for a busy Christmas period! Whilst the Manager at the time thought this was teaching them a lesson it simply meant they chatted even more! Ever since they have been chatting, laughing & have enjoyed several holidays together... organised by Sarah of course! Just hear these two on voice notes back and forth, there is never a quite moment and hours can go by on a phone call without either realising.

Kayla Firth

Bridesmaid

Sarah first met Kayla in September 2022 after falling in love with her Daddy, Mark couldn't wait for the girls to meet. The girls have enjoyed lots of memories on Kayla's visits to Guernsey and are always laughing, taking photos and chatting anything girly! When Sarah and Mark got engaged, Kayla announced the wedding must be on her birthday and she will be a bridesmaid so Sarah was delighted to be able to achieve one of those promises.

Elisha Halliday

Bridesmaid

Elisha & Sarah first met at school and very quickly realised they shared a love of food, dogs & Earl Grey tea! The girls were often in trouble at school for giggling! which is never a bad thing and have spent many a night cooking meals together, & girls nights out although Elisha never will forgive Sarah for that evening of way too much gin drinking! Sarah is Godmother to Elisha & Dean's son Ernie & the girls continue to always have a cup of tea in hand when they catch up..or an Espresso Martini... but never again a gin!

Alex Seabrook

Bridesmaid

Alex and Sarah first met each other at a BBQ through a mutual friend, Alicia! On meeting the girls realised Liss had a certain taste in friends as they were very similar, smiley girls who loved a glass of fizz, handbags and talking holiday. Very quickly a friendship began and they often refer to each other as twins! The girls have had many laughs, memories made and are well known for buying gifts for eacother that are nearly identical. Sarah is Godmother to Alex & Paul's son Jack & will always be grateful to Liss for introducing them...which only left both of them wondering why they hadn't met sooner!

Laura Oxburgh

Bridesmaid

Laura & Sarah met through a networking group & both found themselves on the council. The friendship quickly blossomed and the girls have spent many an evening of dinner parties, coffee & walks, & time with each others gorgeous dogs! They share a great love of champagne and rose wine... Provence obviously! They are often the last two on the dance floor where Sarah is keen to introduce Laura to as many Missy Elliott tracks as possible!

Andrew Firth

Best Man

Andrew is Mark’s younger brother by just 18 months, though you’d never know who’s older with how close they’ve always been. Growing up side by side, they looked after each other through every chapter - from learning to swim together in Turkey with pop bottles strapped under their arms, to navigating school just a year apart. Their bond has only grown stronger with time, making Andrew the perfect choice as Mark’s best man.

Edward Allisette

Groomsman

Edward is the bride’s one and only brother, and over the past three and a half years, he and Mark have built a solid friendship. Bonded by mutual respect, plenty of laughs, and countless conversations about cars. Whether it’s Mark’s determined quest for the perfect Porsche or Edward’s well-known affection for grandad cars and all things Amazon, their banter is constant and their connection genuine. Edward brings calm, wit, and just the right amount of sarcasm to the wedding party.

Ryan Kitching

Groomsman

Mark and Ryan go way back! Long before the wild nights out and legendary house parties. Their story started with walks to junior school alongside Andrew and their nanan and grew into a lifelong friendship. From Mark helping Ryan land a joinery apprenticeship and a place to live, to sharing unforgettable (and sometimes outrageous) memories. They’ve truly grown into men together. Through every chapter, it’s always been full of laughs, loyalty, and a friendship built to last.

Ben Weldon

Groomsman

When Mark and Ben are together, it’s pure chaos, in the best possible way. Like two big kids, you’ll find them prancing around, dancing on tables, sharing questionable kisses on the lips, or passed out face down in their pants after one too many craft beers. Beneath the madness, though, is a solid friendship built on laughter, loyalty, and a shared love for craft brews and Mk1 VW Golfs. With Ben in the mix, things are guaranteed to be unforgettable.

Paul Seabrook

Groomsman

Paul and Mark share a bond full of laughs, winding each other up, and a mutual love for all things cars. Though Mark’s still not quite over the jealousy of Paul’s Renault 5 Turbo project. Mark is proud to be Godfather to Paul’s son Jack, affectionately known as “crazy Uncle Mark” in the family. From Paul’s legendary stag do in Nottingham dressed as a post box, to dancing on tables in the Bierkeller, the memories are unforgettable. Whether it’s tormenting Mark with horrible foot photos (his ultimate phobia) or beating him at Go Karting by a thousandth of a second, Paul never misses a chance to have a laugh. Nights out aren’t complete without Mark and Ben trying to convince him to have just one more.

Piers Murphy

Groomsman

Mark met Piers in 2020 after moving to Guernsey, and what started as colleagues quickly became a solid friendship. Though they’ve since taken different career paths, they’ve remained close. Bonded by shared humour, loyalty, and the occasional unforgettable moment. One that Piers won’t ever forget? The time Mark leapt across the bar at the Piette and kneed him square in the nuts during a euphoric celebration after Barnsley’s 94th-minute goal against Nottingham Forest saved them from relegation. Painful? Yes. But a perfect snapshot of their friendship. Unpredictable, passionate, and always full of laughs.

Josh Rushforth

Groomsman

Josh is Mark and Andrew’s younger brother who came into their lives a little later on, but quickly became part of the crew. He and Mark have made some brilliant memories together. From wild nights out in Barnsley causing mischief, to holidays filled with laughter (and the occasional moment where Mark may have had one too many). Bonded by a shared love of designer clothes and a great sense of fun, Josh brings energy, style, and plenty of laughs to the wedding party.
