Kat and Jess met while working at the St. Petersburg Times in 2007. That means they have known each other for more than 10 years! They've gone through college, jobs, moves and other major life events, but never lost touch and make a point to see each other at least a couple times a year. Kat now lives in Texas.

Kate was Jessica's first Charlotte friend. Before Jessica's move to Charlotte, she posted in a couple local message boards saying when she was moving and asking for recommendations. Kate answered Jessica's post, they met up her first week in town, and have been inseparable ever since! Kate also co-hosts a monthly open mic with Jess.

Megan and Jess met while working together at Rack Room Shoes. Jess took Megan out to lunch on her first week, and it quickly became apparent that they would be more than work friends. Though they've both moved onto new jobs, they remain very close and share everything - neighborhoods, dogsitting, glasses - you name it!

Phil holds the duel titles of not only Kyle's Facebook Official Soul Mate but the only man even more likable than Kyle himself. Naturally, they chose to combine their powers for the good of mankind. Soon they will find a way to form Captain Planet and no doubt save the world.

The union of Tate and Kyle was instantly assured by their vast collections of useless information. Together, they dominate trivia and clear out entire dinner parties with urbane discourse. It is better this way, for others would only have drank their beer and misunderstood their references.

Eric and Kyle instantly bonded over their shared love of politics and the burden of being the most physically impressive specimens in any room. Their pun wars are notorious for their terribleness, striking fear in the hearts of the grammatically troglodytic. They have continued to grow both wiser, and more attractive, as the years pass.

Kyle and Jess are very excited that Jess's Aunt Jamie accepted our request to officiate their wedding! She was the first one to introduce Jess to New York when she was 14, and although they've never lived in the same state, she's always felt connected to her. When Kyle met her this summer, they became fast friends. It feels right to have a family member help them seal their commitment.

Tilly is Jessica and Kyle's miniature poodle. The daintiest pup of their fur kids, she was a clear choice to wear the flowers.
