It all started with a swipe... and a little internet sleuthing. Jesse and I met online (like true modern romantics), and I had my Instagram linked to my dating profile. Instead of just messaging me on the app like a normal person, Jesse did a little digging...he found my dad’s Facebook to make sure I was legit. Spoiler‼️ : I passed the test. 😅 He finally slid into my DMs on Instagram, and that's where our story really began. Our first "hang out" (Jesse refused to call it a date) was on Memorial Day 2021 in Austin, TX. He drove two hours from San Antonio, narrowly avoiding a semi-trucks, or so he claims, and we spent the day together. Somewhere in between the laughs, good conversation, and near-death traffic stories, Jesse looked at me and said: "You know you’re stuck with me, right? Turns out… he was right. We did long distance for months while I traveled as a nurse in Vegas. On June 18th, I flew to San Antonio where Jesse had a full romantic setup: steak dinner, wine, and all my favorite snacks~ and officially asked me to be his girlfriend. By September, we were ready to take a leap. Jesse flew to Vegas to help me pack up and make the move to San Antonio to really see where this relationship could go. And then... our biggest surprise (and blessing) happened the beginning of 2022 when we found out we were expecting our sweet baby boy-Jeriah. We welcomed our son that September *a little piece of both of us wrapped in the cutest bundle ever*. After all the chapters we’ve already lived together: moving, growing, parenting, loving...Jesse made it official on New Year’s Eve 2024 and asked me to be his forever. And now, here we are...planning the celebration of our love with the people we care about most. We can’t wait to start this next chapter as husband and wife! #theforeverfiles
