We invite our guests to dress in formal attire and celebrate with us in style. Floor-length gowns or elegant midi dresses are encouraged. For gentlemen, tuxedos or suits are appropriate; dress pants paired with a button-down shirt are also acceptable. We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing jeans, casual attire, or the color white. For additional inspiration, please view our Pinterest board: https://pin.it/2lOVok8IW
Yes it can! No need to stress about driving at the end of the night! The venue allows cars to stay overnight, but they must be picked up by 9:00 AM the next morning.
Guests invited with a “plus one” on their invitation are welcome to RSVP with a date. If you didn’t receive a plus one, the invitation is just for you!
We love your little ones, but children are welcome only if they are specifically included on your invitation.
Unfortunately, no—there won’t be formal transportation provided. Luckily the recommended hotel accommodations is only five minutes away! Parking will be available at the venue, but if you’re planning on drinking (and we hope you are—cheers! 🥂), we highly recommend downloading the Uber or Lyft app and getting it set up ahead of time. That way you’re all set to grab a ride when the party winds down on Saturday night!
Yes! September 19, 2026 is a home Husker game day (GBR!). While we love the energy downtown on game days, we recommend avoiding the Downtown/Haymarket/UNL Campus area if possible to steer clear of heavy traffic and big crowds. The good news? Both our ceremony and reception will be in Southwest Lincoln, so things should stay pretty calm on our end. Just plan ahead, and you’ll be golden!
The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. For ladies wearing heels, you’ll primarily be walking on concrete and turf, so there’s no need to worry about sinking into grass or navigating uneven terrain.
The bar’s got you covered—cash or card! However… we are doing a dollar dance, so if you want to bust a move with the bride or groom, don’t forget to bring some cash to join the fun!
We tried to avoid a game day—seriously, we did! But we quickly realized that finding a fall date that didn’t conflict with a Husker game was nearly impossible. We loved the idea of getting married on the 19th (since we met on a 19th and started dating on a 19th), but we were willing to give that up if it meant our Husker-lovin’ guests wouldn’t have to miss a game. Still, every venue we toured was either booked out for all the other Saturdays or—get this—the only date they had open was the 19th. Every single one! Seemed like a sign to us. So we said, “Let’s do it,” especially knowing it’s just North Dakota 😉 We’ll totally forgive you if you sneak a game update during dinner—but we promise the open bar will make up for it. GBR ❤️🌽
