Our adventure begins!

Nick and Amanda’s story began in July 2022 on a little app called Hinge. From the very first message, Amanda was smitten—she even called Nick her “husband” before they’d ever met in person! Nick, on the other hand, was immediately drawn to Amanda’s beautiful smile and effortless sense of humor. Their first date brought them to Topgolf, where sparks flew alongside golf balls. Nick was pleasantly surprised by Amanda’s golf skills, despite her modest claims of being a “non-golfer,” and Amanda found Nick’s humor and sweetness impossible to resist. What started as a casual outing quickly turned into butterflies, laughter, and the beginning of their adventure together.

Amanda knew Nick was the one after seeing how naturally he connected with her local nephews, Greyson and Cal. His kind heart, genuine nature, and ability to fix (or figure out) anything melted her heart. Nick knew early on that Amanda was the one, appreciating her adventurous spirit, infectious smile, and sense of humor. For both of them, being together just felt effortless. Their engagement was nothing short of magical. On a sunrise hike at the Lanakai Pillbox in Hawaii, Nick set up a tripod to “capture the sunrise.” Surrounded by breathtaking views—and a few curious tourists—he cleverly led Amanda to a quieter spot. Nervous but excited, he popped the question, and Amanda said yes through happy tears. They spent the rest of their trip hiking, playing beach pickleball, sipping fruity drinks, and celebrating the start of their next adventure together.
