Directions to the ceremony:

The ceremony will be at Black Rocks Cove in Presque Isle Park. From Marquette, take Lakeshore Boulevard approximately 3 miles North. The road becomes Peter White Drive upon entering the park. Go left. In approximately 0.5 miles, you'll reach a small parking lot near The Cove. Follow the narrow footpath leading directly into The Cove.

Please arrive to the ceremony at Black Rocks Beach at least a few minutes prior to 4:00pm. Ceremony will end around 4:30pm, guests can immediately head to the Landmark Inn for Cocktail Hour. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm, with an open bar from 5:00-8:00pm. From 8:00-10:00pm, the bar will turn into cash bar. Reception concludes at 10:00pm.

How will the ceremony work?
Answer
Black Rocks is a public area, therefore we cannot have any seating for the ceremony. Follow the directions to the ceremony above. When you enter The Cove, please leave an "aisle" for the bride & groom. Stand wherever you'd like!

Where do I park for the ceremony?
Answer
There are multiple places to park within Presque Isle near Black Rocks. You may find parking at Black Rocks, Sunset Point, or along the road. Please wear shoes that you can safely walk in! There will be a short walk to The Cove where the ceremony will be held.

What should I expect for weather?
Answer
Since we will be on Lake Superior in early October, the weather could be highly variable. In 2023, the first week of October had a low of 50 and a high of 80. It is probably best to plan for the weather to be brisk, but after the short ceremony, the reception will be indoors!

Please do not bring anyone that is not listed on the invite. This is an intimate wedding with Kyle and Makayla's closest friends and family :)

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

There is not transportation to and from the ceremony or reception.
