Welcome!

Thank you so much for visiting our site! We eloped on February 8, 2025, in Beaufort, NC, with just our parents by our side. It was the most sacred and perfect day of our lives. Since we didn’t get to share that moment with everyone, we’d love to walk you through our story and give you a special glimpse into our wedding day below.

Our story

Connor and Annabelle met on a night out at The Husk in downtown Wilmington. Connor had just returned from sniper school, and Annabelle had just wrapped up her junior volleyball season. Funny enough, neither of them even wanted to go out that night—but their friends insisted. While Annabelle was chatting with her friends at the bar, Connor spotted her and decided to make a move... by asking her best friend and roommate for her number (who now proudly goes by “Cupid”). She gave it to him, and Connor spent the rest of the night texting Annabelle—who had no clue who the random number was. Later that evening, they finally talked and shared a drink. Over the next two weeks, Connor continued reaching out—texting, calling, and even sending flowers—though Annabelle wasn’t quite convinced yet. But his persistence, charm, and genuine heart eventually won her over, and she decided to give him a chance. By January, one of the first times the two hung-out, Connor casually mentioned that they'd “been dating for a while.” Annabelle, caught off guard but secretly thrilled, simply said “okay!”—because she really did have a crush on him… she just didn’t want to make it too obvious. Their love quickly grew in the beautiful city of Wilmington. From spontaneous dates on the water, to long beach walks and weekend road trips, the 50-minute drive between them never stood in the way. They made unforgettable memories visiting Connor’s family in the Pacific Northwest, a quick weekend in Phoenix, AZ, holidays with Annabelle's family in Apex, NC, and, eventually, taking their last trip together to Asheville before his deployment. When deployment came, it was hard—but their hearts were steady. Connor worked on the boat overseas, making time to email Annabelle every day. Meanwhile, Annabelle started her Master’s program while finishing her final volleyball season at Elon, eagerly checking her inbox each day for his messages. Deployment tested them, but it also strengthened them. The reunion after 7.5 months apart was full of joy and butterflies. That season taught them to love deeper, savor every moment, and understand the meaning of home. Three days after returning, on December 4, 2024, Connor proposed with a stunning ring he picked out himself. Annabelle’s first words? “Wait… really?!” Followed quickly by a big, happy yes. Those three days were full of love, laughter, and God’s blessing. And now, here they are—promising each other forever.

Elopement

We’re incredibly grateful to our parents and families, Aunt Shelly, Kelly Viau, and the Nizzi family for planning and setting up such a meaningful and beautiful day. We got married in the most beautiful coastal town — Beaufort, NC on February 8, 2025. We rented a cozy Airbnb that became both our weekend home and our wedding venue, shared with just our parents. The house was filled with laughter, stories, and so much love — memories we’ll carry with us forever. After deployment, we realized how important it was to have sacred, uninterrupted time together as we stepped into this new chapter — which led us to choose an elopement. During our ceremony, we praised God for bringing us together and allowing us to become one. To honor His blessing over our marriage, we shared in our first communion as husband and wife and washed each other’s feet — a powerful symbol of love, humility, and service. Our intimate ceremony laid the foundation for our future — united in love and rooted in faith. Together, we honored our Heavenly Father and the sacred covenant we made before Him.
