We were band kids! We met through mutual friends and quickly made the connection we were in each other's band and Spanish class. It felt like we were hidden in plain sight from each other until the right time came, a true "invisible string" story. Naturally, we spent a lot of time together when marching band season kicked off in August. We were both very smitten with each other. After many hours of phone calls and long band days we made things "official" while on a trip to Disneyland in January of 2014. In the winter break leading to the band trip, we spent any opportunity we had to be in communication with each other. When the Disney trip finally arrived it was on the way to the Indiana Jones ride David worked up the courage to reach for Jessica's hand and hasn't let go since.
