At the time, Ebony was pursuing her doctorate in physical therapy, while Joshua had already established himself as an engineer. Despite their initial dates starting off a bit rocky and leaving them uncertain about their compatibility, they now share countless humorous memories from those early days. Hailing from different hometowns - Blytheville, AR for Joshua and East St. Louis, IL for Ebony - they found each other in Jonesboro, AR. Their shared passion for traveling and culinary exploration bonds them, as Ebony humorously quips, "One thing about us, we gonna eat!" Their household includes two beloved dogs, Chocolate "Choc" and Diogie "OG". After years of dating, growing, and loving together, Joshua orchestrated a heartfelt proposal on the day Ebony rededicated her life to Christ through baptism. On July 8,2023 Ebony was overwhelmed with surprise and joy, recounting how Joshua flawlessly fulfilled her wishes, even ensuring her nails, hair, makeup, and family were all part of the momentous occasion. Despite the challenges of keeping the proposal a secret from Ebony's curious nature, Joshua succeeded in creating a memorable and meaningful milestone in their journey.
