Heyyy, my name is Preshus! I met Jae back in 2019 when we were working for the same company. We shared an office so I got the pleasure of plucking her nerves almost every day. Jae always had something to eat, and if you know me…. You know I’m not turning down any food. Once she started bringing lunch for me it was a wrap, I became the little sister she never asked for! From day one I’ve always told Jae “I want to be like you when I grow up” and I still say it till this day. The balance that she is able to maintain when it comes to loving and caring for others but still standing up for herself is unwavering. I remember when Jae first met Alvin, I was intrigued because if you know you know. Their love overwhelms me with joy everytime I am around them, I do my happy dance. Alvin welcomed me with open arms, and he feeds me too which is a plus. I LOVE Jae’s chicken salad, so everytime she makes some he makes sure that she calls me. I could go on and on but the point is, Jae and Alvin have become a major part of my life. I am elated to be apart of a union between two amazing people. Congratulations Jae and Alvin!

As Janique’s sister I’ve known her her whole life. Growing up with a sister just one year and 6 days younger than you was eventful to say the least. They say sisters are the friends you never asked for. My little sister is an inspiration to me. Her tenacity to set goals and achieve them effortlessly is what I enjoy most about her. She left home and found a whole new life and found her happiness in her new city and in her new love. Seeing her achieve everything she set her mind to is nothing short of admirable. Janique and I met while in undergrad at Buff State. Our friendship bloomed in true sag form. That meant we was friendly, goofy, honest, and a tad cautious. I don’t know how we snuck up on each other, but by the time I graduated Janique became my sister. They say in college you’ll find your life partners and I’d raise a glass to that. No matter how many miles separate us, that’s going to always be my girl. I’m just happy I to annoy her along the way.

My first encounter with Alvin was Fall 2020 when my sister made a surprise visit up to Rochester. There was a knock at my door. I peeked out the window to see if I know the car and I didn’t. I asked my wife “do you know someone with a white truck and it’s nice too?!” She said “no, I don’t know anyone with a truck.” I opened the door and there was Janique standing with this gentlemen that’s twice her size. Alvin was very respectful plus he was well groomed. After Janique introduce us we begin to make conversation and finding out that we actually had more in common than what I thought. We quickly hit it off making memories for life.
