It was the spring of 2018 when the two met at a friends birthday party in Anacortes, WA. Nadia had been invited to come join this crowd and was introduced to each person around. When it finally got to meeting Beau, he was playing basketball alone. This intrigued Nadia, and pretty soon they spent the whole summer playing video games online as nothing but good friends. Being only 15 at the time, the main focus was to win whatever game that was being played. After the fall and soon winter had passed, Beau got his braces removed and naturally Nadia congratulated him. He responded with “thank you, you actually noticed?” Of course this was funny to her considering it is a pretty noticeable thing. Shortly after, Beau had new game to win: Somehow make the Anacortes girl fall in love with a Sedro Woolley boy. After some time, that’s exactly what he did and on March 9th, 2019 he asked her if she’d like to be his girlfriend. She said yes, and the adventures of the two began.
It was a casual day at work for Nadia, and a casual day off of work for Beau. The night before, they agreed to meet for lunch in Sequim, WA as a last date before Nadia went on a long vacation with her family. Once 1pm rolled around, Beau picked Nadia up with her favorite sushi and started driving out to the Dungeness Bay Park for a picnic. Once they filled their appetites, Beau suggested the two of them walk along side the water towards the docks. As they walked side by side on the docks, the two looked for anything interesting in the water. Once Nadia had reached the end and was looking in the water, she noticed the dock started bouncing. She was unaware that Beau stayed a few steps behind, and had thought he was purposely bouncing the dock to push her buttons. That is until she turned around, ready to say “stop jumping on the dock,” and seeing bouncing was actually coming from Beau getting on his knee. He asked the question, and of course she said yes, and it turned out to not be such a casual Friday.
