As compared to KY, we have casinos! With the chance it could be getting cold in Buffalo this time of year, the casino is a great place to spend some time (and money!). Have some fun, but try not to gamble away our wedding gift!
Buffalo Riverworks is the first built, fully functioning brewery that has been retrofitted into the existing grain silos. It is right on the river with tons to do! In November you won't be able to enjoy the ferris wheel and zipline, there is an axe throwing facility called Ales & Axes, 2 covered, outdoor ice rinks for skating, Riverworks Brewing Co. & The Ward restaurant.
The home of the Original Buffalo Wing! In 1964, a group of the bartender's friends arrived at the bar starving. He asked his mother to prepare something for them, and she made a meal out of hot sauce and chicken wings – a part of the chicken that usually went into the stock pot for soup. After that night, they became a world phenomenon and a favorite place to visit in Buffalo. Besides wings, they also offer pizza logs, another Buffalo delicacy, which is a pizza-stuffed egg roll. Enjoy!
One of the best wing places in Buffalo! It is a bit of a drive but this food is worth it! We recommend the Cajun-Honey Butter BBQ, Sicilian, and/or Medium wings. They also serve the best Beef on Weck – a roast beef sandwich on a kaiser roll with kosher salt and caraway seeds. Wash it down with a Labatt Blue Light or Ellicottville Brewing Blueberry Wheat!
Hofbräuhaus Buffalo is a beer hall and restaurant with true Bavarian food and drink. This place is an energetic party every day of the week, with authentic German bands, dancing and drinking. This is also right across the street from the casino listed above so if you are in the area it is a fun place to have a bite!
