FAQs

The Wedding Website of Shelby Billing and Tyler Edmundson
If you have any other questions other than what are listed here, please reach out to us!
Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are currently registered at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/theedswedoct25. However, more than anything we want you there with us to celebrate our day, so please do not feel obligated!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by September 4th, 2025 so that we can have an accurate headcount for the venue and catering. You can RSVP on the website or contact us directly via email at theedswed.oct25@gmail.com. If we haven't received your RSVP by the specified date we will assume you cannot attend.

Question

Will the bar be an open or cash bar?

Answer

There will be a bar at the venue, and the first few drinks are on us! After that, a cash bar will be available to keep the celebrations going! Please remember to bring a valid ID and a form of payment if you wish to enjoy more drinks.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:15pm, please arrive at least 30 minutes before that to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want all of our guests to look and feel their best on our special day. We just ask you to wear any semi-formal attire that isn't auburn, to not match the bridal party! The ceremony will also be outside, so please take that into account!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be held at the same location, The Charlotte Museum of History at 3500 Shamrock Dr., Charlotte, NC 28215

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, if your guest name is listed on your invite, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Question

What if I am no longer able to attend but I already RSVP'd?

Answer

Kindly let us know as soon as possible if your plans change and you are unable to attend. We understand that things come up, but we appreciate being informed as early as you can.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged", meaning that we are asking for personal devices to be put away during the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer and will be happy to share those photos with you afterwards. At the reception, however, we encourage everyone to take photos and to please share those with us as you are able!
