Our Happily Ever After

Julia and Trent matched on Hinge in August of 2022, proving that sometimes dating apps actually work. Their first date on September 17, 2022 was as competitive as possible, starting with Topgolf Mini Golf (where Trent once worked) and ending at Dave & Buster’s. Somewhere between trash talk and placing bets on who would get the first hole in one, they realized this might be something worth keeping. They made things official after the State Fair of Texas on October 21, 2022, and from that moment on, life became something they chose to experience together. They discovered a shared love for sports, spirited banter, healthy competition, and caring deeply for the people they hold close. In April of 2023, they moved in together, turning everyday moments into a home. Two years later, in April of 2025, they bought their first house, taking another step toward the future they were building side by side. On October 3, 2025, surrounded by family and friends, Trent proposed in a moment straight out of a fairytale, recreating Julia’s favorite scene from Tangled as glowing lanterns filled the sky. With love all around them, Julia said yes. From a first date full of laughter to a lifetime ahead, Julia and Trent are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people they love most.
