We met at a Herbalife Health & Fitness Training Event in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Boston when our mutual friends, Samia and Zayda hosted a health coach recruiting class. As the rest of the class were getting situated into their exercises, I noticed Steve first, and he started the conversation with the intention of getting a new client to build up his personal training resume. Conversely, Steve wasn't informed that I was already a health coach. Fast forward into a few months, we found ourselves building a connection of personal interests such as: Fitness, Animals, Art, Food, Family Time, History, and Learning different languages. Our relationship became official when Steve invited me to watch a race at an F1 Go-Kart indoor racetrack. While we shared a lot in common, I left the date feeling pleasantly surprised and Steve had no idea knowing he just met the woman he was going to marry one day. On July 22, 2016, Steve was taking me out to dinner at Abe & Louis on Boylston Street. Before we exited his car, he asked me to close my eyes for a surprise gift. Upon reopening them, he presented me a box with a ring in it and popped the question. I said, yes! Four years into the relationship, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Yahaira.
