We're getting married (again)!

We met all thanks to Kaufman Hall. It was Grace's first day and Dave led a portion of her training. Our friendship blossomed over the next several months as we spent countless days and nights with our fellow junior staffers. Dave went out of his way to surprise Grace at her 27th birthday celebration, after which her friends insisted he'd be "the one". Our official first date was a few weeks later and the rest was history!

Dave had a Board meeting in Tucson, AZ and planned an extended golf weekend for us at the Ritz Carlton Dove Mountain. Grace was supposed to fly in directly from a work trip but when the client cancelled last minute, she considered bailing on the AZ trip, too. Little did she know, Dave had big plans. After a little convincing, Grace hopped a plane from Chicago and met Dave for what she thought would simply be a relaxing Valentine's weekend in the desert. We played a twilight round of golf Friday evening and Dave popped the question as Grace finished her last putt on the 9th green. A caddy caught the whole thing on video, including Grace's "are you sh*tting me?!?".

After postponing our original wedding plans from February 2021 to December 2021, we felt strongly about still celebrating our love as soon as possible. We planned the most magical night in Grace's parents' backyard with just immediate family. Our dear family friend officiated, we served our favorite BBQ, and we danced the night away. We can't wait to continue the party with all of you on December 11th!
