FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

December 15th, please!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, black tie optional.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Between 2:45pm and 2:50pm.

Question

Will there be transportation provided to and from the ceremony and reception?

Answer

No, we will not be providing transportation. Since all our guests are staying at various hotels and locations, it wasn’t practical to arrange group transport. St. Patrick’s is just under a mile from the Crystal Tea Room, so it’s an easy walk or a quick cab/Uber ride between the two. You’ll also have a little time between the ceremony and reception, so if you’d like, we recommend taking a stroll and stopping at a nearby spot—like Parc, a.bar, The Dandelion, Black Sheep, The Happy Rooster or any of the other great places in the area—for a quick drink before the party begins.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking garage available at the reception venue (the Crystal Tea Room). You’ll park in the garage beneath the Wanamaker Building. The church does not have on-site parking, so please plan accordingly. There are several parking garages within one to two blocks of St. Patrick’s, but we still recommend using Uber/Lyft or a cab for the easiest experience throughout the day. The Rittenhouse Garage and Dorchester Garage are both very close to St. Patrick's Church, and then you could drive to Crystal Tea Room.

Question

What hotel do you recommend?

Answer

Please check out our Travel tab where we listed some of our hotel recommendations. All walking distance to St. Patrick's and Crystal Tea Room.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Before the dinner service begins, servers will come around to each table and inquire about any dietary restrictions. They will also offer an alternative to the selected dinner entrees for those with allergies.
