Question

What does a Catholic Wedding look like?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable and included at our wedding, whether you’re Catholic, another faith, or not religious at all. There’s nothing you’re expected to know or do. Just being there with us means everything! Our ceremony will be a traditional Catholic Mass and will last about 45 minutes to an hour. There are a few moments where guests may pray or sing. You’re welcome to join in or simply observe, whatever feels right! At the end of the Mass, guests may come forward to receive the Eucharist. If you’re not a practicing Catholic, we kindly ask that you don’t receive it, but you’re welcome to come forward for a blessing (just cross your arms) or remain seated.

Question

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors! Depending on weather, cocktail hour may take place outdoors at St. Charles Grounds.

Question

Will there be dinner served?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be serving a delicious family-style meal with options for any dietary needs.

Question

Will alcohol be served at the reception?

Answer

Yes we will have beer, wine, and seltzers available for guests!

Question

Where Should I Park?

Answer

There is a large lot right in front of both the church and the reception venue with plenty of parking.

Question

Can I take pictures or post on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put away all devices during the ceremony and be mindful of our professional photographer. Once the reception starts, feel free to take and share as many photos as you’d like!!
