Dale and I had planned a trip for Nashville to have a small get away from reality for a bit. I was getting cold feet due to financial situations but he insisted us go and enjoy our time. One of my best friend got to come along on our trip. We had planned to go to the concert they were having in downtown Nashville but plans had to change so we made last minute decision the night before the proposal to go to this restaurant called Top Note. It was an absolute amazing experience there, food was delicious. Around 11:20 I had recommended that we go outside to get a front row seat to the firework show that would be at the concert. (The concert was right Infront of the restaurant we were at). Dale and sydney had walked outside to hold a spot while I stayed behind to collect their cards from the server. Around 11:45 Dale says he needed to use the restroom so he takes off, the outside patio is now getting crowded and I’m freaking out because he wasn’t back out yet. 11:55 hits and he’s finally walking back out. 12:00 on the dot hits, fire works are going off all around us..I turn towards him to kiss him and he looks at me and says, “before I kiss you there’s something I need to ask you” he drops down on one knee and asks me to marry him. It was all in slow motion, I couldn’t believe it was happening. It was by far the best day of my life and I will forever replay it in my head.
