After years of not quite finding the right person, I figured, “Why not?” I didn’t expect much, honestly. Just a few conversations, maybe some new connections, but nothing serious. But as time went on, I found myself swiping left more than right, feeling like I was just spinning my wheels. I’d pause my account, unpause it, and repeat the cycle—thinking maybe I was just trying too hard. Then came that season—November and December—when both of us were taking breaks from the app, wondering if it was even worth it anymore. But one night, when I opened the app with no hope, there he was. David. Everything about his profile was exactly what I had prayed for—his values, his goals, his heart. It was too perfect to be true, but I felt something in my gut tell me to just take a chance. I messaged him, heart pounding, wondering if he’d even reply. And to my joy, he did. But there was something in me that said, “Maybe one last time. Just be patient.” So I gave it another shot, thinking it would be just like all the others. And then, there she was again. My beautiful, Jasmine. It wasn’t just the way she looked, though she was beyond stunning. It was the depth of her heart, her values, and her goals in life that lined up so perfectly with what I was looking for. Everything was aligning! I couldn’t believe she’d even message me, but when she did, my heart skipped a beat. We hit it off right away. Every conversation flowed effortlessly, and I started to realize, “This could really be it.” It didn’t take long for me to know—this woman was going to be the love of my life, my wife.
