Our digital paths crossed late one Sunday afternoon in June 2022. After chatting back and forth, Jake shared that he had never had 4 Queens Dairy Cream ice cream — a fact Amber could not comprehend as this was a known favorite of hers. Five days later they had their first date getting ice cream at, you guessed it, 4 Queens. Amber was late — a chronic issue in her life, but thankfully, Jake — known for his punctuality, was able to overlook this affront. Four hours later with empty cups in hand, they agreed to see each other again. After a few more dates, texts, and according to Jake an apparent ghosting from Amber — not true, they formed a connection that could not be matched. Fast forward to June 2024. They set out for Ireland and Scotland on what would become one of Amber and Jake's greatest adventures. Amber arranged for a bus tour day to see the breathtaking sights of western Ireland. After a beautiful morning at the Cliffs of Moher, the tour stopped in Galway for a late lunch. Jake and Amber separated from the group and decided to walk the Long Walk — a quiet picturesque street that follows along the harbor. Jake pulled Amber off to an old dock to take in the beauty. With a view of mountains in the background and the sounds of seagulls overhead, Jake asked Amber to marry him. She, of course, said yes! And here they are, four years from when it all began, thrilled to share this new step in their journey with you!
