Dublin. You could fly to Shannon if you intend to begin your trip with some traveling on the west coast but if not, Dublin will be the much more convenient airport.
It depends. Ireland is much more public transport-oriented and the public services provide good ways to move around conveniently. However, if the thought of constantly being at the mercy of bus timetables is unattractive to you, a car would certainly be easier. All major car rental companies are available for rental at Dublin airport. NOTE: IRELAND DRIVES ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD - YOU HAVE OVER A YEAR TO PRACTICE :)
Tough to call. Ireland is relatively neutral during the summer. The highs typically won't exceed 70 degrees (on a very hot day by Irish standards) and normally won't drop below 50. We hope it doesn't rain too much during your stay, but it is highly likely it will rain at some point, so do prepare for that.
During the short ceremony we invite you to be fully present with us and would appreciate a limited use of cell phones. However, for the rest of the day/week...go for it!
A taxi service If you choose to stay at a local Bed & Breakfast or an AirBNB in lieu of staying at Cabra, arranging a taxi service would be your best bet. Ride share apps are not as common in Ireland are they are here in the states. Check with reception where you are staying and they will be able to help!
If you can't catch a ride with friends also traveling over, the best way to get from Dublin to Cavan without a car is to bus which takes 2h 10m and costs 12€ - 17€.
We would like our guests to let loose and feel carefree once again! So leave the kids with family and have a night off or a mini break for yourself and your other half! When was the last time you did that??
Yes! There is plenty of parking. Follow the signs as you enter the venue.
You will need to source your own transport to the ceremony unless you are staying at the venue. There are local taxi firms listed under the Travel & Accommodation tab.
