Erin and John met while soaking in their roots celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Erin watched John dancing on the dance floor with his step mom Michelle, and she turned to her mom and said, "I want a guy like that, one who's not afraid to dance in a crowded room." Little did she know that John had spotted her from across the room (how could he not when she was wearing a green hat with a large white pom on the top) and told his step mom, "I want to talk to that girl." Before Erin realized what was happening she was surrounded by Michelle and five of her closest friends all attempting to guess where they knew Erin from: were they her teachers, did they do Zumba together, maybe just around town? Michelle seemed to pull John out of nowhere and introduced him to Erin. Erin and John had the pleasure of getting to know one another with John's father and step mom, Erin's mom and dad, as well as ten of their parents closest friends and relatives. To say it was an awkward start would be an understatement, however, they knew from the beginning there was something special here and were inseparable from day one.
