The Duffey's

We lived in the same apartment complex, just 200 feet apart, for six months but never crossed paths. One day Stephen was at the pool with a neighbor while Lauren was tanning and reading a book. After a few hours of glancing at each other, Stephen finally came over and invited Lauren to hang out with them. The three of them hung out for 30 minutes before Stephen had to leave to get a friend from the airport. He got Lauren’s number and they planned to hangout when he got back. While he was gone, Lauren made sure to get all the details from the neighbor, just to make sure Stephen wasn’t a total weirdo or a serial killer! Once he was back they went to the apartment clubhouse for their first date to play pool and shuffleboard. They had so much fun together that their first date turned into three straight days of cracking jokes, hanging out by the pool, and watching movies. A week later Stephen asked Lauren to be his girlfriend and a year and a half later asked her to be his wife! We can’t wait to be the Duffey’s!
