The Duncan Estate was built in late the late 1890's by Major David R. Duncan. A lawyer by trade, he was known in many different circles. Originally purchased as 300 acres of land in 1874 off Union Road, Major Duncan would build this time capsule of history where he would live until his death in 1902. His family resided in the home until 1937. In 1923, 11 acres of the land that surrounded the home was donated to the city. This land is now known as Duncan Park. When searching for a wedding venue, it was incredibly important to us to find a setting with character. As luck would have it, one sad day turned into a great one when we were lucky enough to hear about the estate and we wouldn't have it any other way.
